I think he actually contributed to straightening it out by throwing his weight left, while the front wheels were still in the air. Cool like an icebox with dry ice.

ANYtime you can get enough bite(traction/hook) on DIRT to lift the front wheels, is impressive...........

Very nice comeback for the win after crashing early while showboating.

If any of you have never seen a sprint car race on a dirt oval in person, you owe it to yourself to change that. It’s a hell of thing.

Take my advice, sit up high.

yeah! REALLY high.

I remember as a kid I would try to get down to the fence, and my dad would always pull me back up to the back seats. He knew what can happen.

He wasn’t showboating, he was slowing himself down so he didn’t overshoot the landing.

Devil’s bowl here in DFW still runs the Outlaws races. Formula Drift should get with these guys. Can you imagine a combined event with Robby Gordon’s Stadium Super Trucks, FD, and an Outlaws race? Just a long weekend of power slides and and unfiltered race exhaust.

drift really should be done on a loose surface like dirt, save so many tyres.

No smokey clouds of atomized rubber on dirt though.
